870-4-07

United States, area code 870 (Jonesboro, AR)

1 person reported this number 21d ago.

Low signal

Step 2 of 4 on our scale: no reports, low, elevated, high.

One person reported this number, or several did and what they described is mild, old, or disputed. Worth reading, not a conclusion.

Why this level

Includes reports about money, coercion, or impersonation

Caller ID can be faked and numbers get reassigned. Reports describe contact that showed this number, not who owns it.

Should I answer or call back?

Don't call back the number in the text or voicemail. If they say they're from your bank, a payment app, or a company you use, hang up and call the number on the back of your card or on your statement.
Don't send money, gift cards, or crypto, and don't move money to a "safe account". No real bank or agency asks for that.
Never read back a one-time code, whatever the reason they give.
A job or "paid task" offer that needs a deposit first isn't a job. Never pay to get paid. How task scams work

Other things to know

If you sent money, call your bank or payment app now. The sooner you call, the better the odds. What to say to them
Don't send more to "unlock" or "recover" what you sent. That's the same scam, second round.
In the US, report it at reportfraud.ftc.gov. It helps investigators connect cases.
